The package contains a pair of QUIK-PAK electrodes for adults and a CHARGE-PAK charger, instructions and a discharger for the CHARGE-PAK charger. Battery and electrodes are always changed at the same time on the LIFEPAK CR Plus. Physio Control has chosen an innovative path for its battery. CHARGE-PAK is a battery that is used to charge an internal battery in the defibrillator, hence the battery is called a battery charger. It can take up to 3 days before the defibrillator is ready for use and up to 2 weeks before the battery is fully charged. The discharger is used on the old battery charger so that it can be safely disposed of, which takes 9 days.
